Special Lenten Programs  and Worship 2025

Here are several opportunities to grow closer to God this Lent which will accommodate the schedules and interests of most of us. Please join us for one or all offerings.

Offering 1  : Monday Soup Lunch Bunch:  12 noon at Lord of the Seas Church

We will continue  to look at the Fruits of the Spirit while talking about techniques to help us use them to grow closer to God

Offering 2: Weekday 5 Minute Meditations: Monday thru Friday at 8 am on our Facebook page, Pastor Linda will post on  a brief talk about the scripture reading for the day. Not a morning person? The talk will be saved there for a more convenient time. 

Offering 3: The Gospel of John in 40 days. For our active crowd, there are daily readings to think about as you walk a mile a day, do 5000 steps, or even an hour exercise or  chair yoga. Or just commit to reading through John each day. Sheets with the readings and  suggestions will be available in the narthex. 

Worship 

Ash Wednesday at Lord of the Seas

12 noon Service or Prayer with guide meditation

7 pm Ash wednesday service with imposition of ashes

First Sunday of Lent March 9 at  10 am

Pastor Nichole Eastwood, the Assistant to the Bishop for Transitions will be with us to share and listen . Please make sure to join us for a meal after the service that day.

Holy Week Services

April 13th at 10:00 service-Palm Sunday .

April 17th at 7:00 PM Maundy Thursday.

April 18th 7:00 PM Good Friday. Tenenbrae service.

April 20th at  6:45 AM Easter Dawn service at the end of Bogie Rd.

April 20th Easter breakfast at LOS following the Easter Dawn service.

April 20th at 10:00 Easter Celebration Service.
